Love the preview to the movie! I respect both Hitchens and Wilson greatly, and can't wait to see it. Out of question, whats the song that starts playing at 13:04?
If the preview is any indication, this will be a great DVD. As a Christian, it is refreshing to see an apologist with Wilson's chops go up against a formidable atheist writer and intellectual. It says a lot that two scholars on opposite ends of such a monumental debate have such character and maturity as to allow a 90 minute documentary to be made of them. I can name a few other formidable atheists and theologians who should be taking notes...
i'm getting a bad feeling for mr wilson and his brood in this argument, with big bad hitch coming to knock his house down and smash his guitar. surely he's going to pull his punch in the end... i await a full hollywood climax and schmaltzy reconciliation scene afterwards.
Indeed, it is rather arrogant to declare there is no God. Or in Christopher Hitchens' case, "There is no God, and I hate Him." I wouldn't bother having a "bad feeling" for Pastor Douglas. After all, he has the truth on his side.
Cannot wait to see this.... looks like an excellent movie. As an athesit and admirer of Christopher Hitchens I am looking forward to seeing him engage with a religious person who will put his neck on the block and say which parts of the bible he actually believes in, unlike someone like Sharpton.
